For all these Jews saying "why do I have to support Torah?"- you're right, you don't have to. But when you come to the next world and they say "if you didn't learn Torah did you at least support Torah?" what are you gonna say? I gave money to the UJA? To build beautiful cat shelters? And when the rockets start falling on Tel Aviv what merit will save you? The merit of singing 'Hatikva'?
