How the "Chazon Ish" saved the Kashrus industry

(Tmurah 31a) "If you have an egg of a Trayfa, and it turns into a chick, the chick is Kosher, because you had a stage in middle where the egg rotted, and it was unfit for anything; it was like dirt".

Comes the Chazon Ish in Bechoros, Simon 16, Sif 15 to 16, and he's talking about "Musk" and honey, where food and blood turn from one thing to another, and he says that if you do a chemical reaction on non Kosher, and it turns from one thing to another, if you have a stage in middle where it's unfit for anything even in dilution (Like a few parts per million, or emulsifier, or whatever) then it's Kosher.

Time to talk to your local chemist.
