Why Rabbi Gil Steinlauf's argument is retarded

When Chazal said that the inside should be like the outside they did not mean to lower the level of the outside to match the inside, but to make better the inside to match he outside. For example; if I come across as a great rabbi, but privately I rape my daughter, the remedy is not to go public that I rape my daughter but to stop raping my daughter. But Steinlauf needs an excuse to be freed from the yoke of the Torah.
