At the end of the day it's not the parents, it's the free choice

Said Rabbi Yehoshua; "even if you had kids when you were young, you should also have kids when you're old, because it says, "in the morning sow your seed, and in the evening do not be idle, because you never know which one will come out good, this one or that one, or they will both be good." (Koheles 11) (Yevamos 62b). "Because you never know which kid will be good and a "Yeras Shomayim", and he will stick around (And not go OTD). (Rashi ibid)

Someone should tell the kids that 'free choice' does not mean 'free lunch'. They will pay for everything they do. (Click Sep 22, 2011)
